Zooming Along

 

The committe of Battle Photographic Society have decided that we will be producing a full  programme of events ; Speakers, Competitions and Workshops online up until Christmas. In the autumn we will review the situation.

Members will be invited to join Zoom Meetings to listen to  speakers, judging of PDI competitions or participate in the workshops.

 

New members (accomplished photographers or beginners) and visitors are all assured of a warm welcome.  If you are interested in joining, or would like to learn more about us, please see our About page or simply send your email address together with a few details using the Contact link in the menu bar and we will send you an invitation to join via Zoom.

Sussex Photographic Federation

The much delayed presentation to the retiring Chairman Steve Barnes and Treasurer Mike Davis has take place suitably socially distanced and covid secure.

 

We thank them both for all their hard work over the past 3 years.

Forthcoming talk

Tom Evans has been invited to speak to Battle & 1066Mono on the evening of 

Thursday 26th November at 7.30pm.

He will talk about the special wooden plate Camera for the first 40 minutes, have a break and another 40 minutes about the pictures and book in the KESR Kent & East Sussex Railway engineering workshops in Tenterden where the images are taken.

 

Kent & East Sussex Railway is a charitable organisation dependent on donations, particularly during this time of the pandemic.

An Excelent result at the 2020 SxPF PDI Championship on Nov 7th gaining 3rd place with 603 points.

Two members Jon Young and David Warren each gained a Merit for their images.
